OK, but seriously, in all honesty the garden isn’t all charming rustic barrel planters and cute stepping stone filled herb gardens.Most of the time, it actually looks like this.. Toys and tools everywhere!

Just like the indoor living room.🙂 This is still a huge win for us this year though because everything we planted is growing so well and the weeds are not!.If we aren’t in the garden, you can usually find us in our shady backyard next to the creek, hanging out in some old adirondack chairs and enjoying watching the fields around us grow.. Garden Favorites.

A Pop of Pretty.You put everything that’s the same together.. That’s it.. Don’t worry about balancing things out, or mixing it up, just group items together that look the most like one another.. Then, if it’s still feeling a little cluttered you add in one to two baskets, preferably somewhere in the bottom 1/3 of the shelf.. Then, if it needs a little something extra, add a pop of green.

It can be fake green.Mine usually is.

It sounds ridiculously simplistic, but as someone who has suffered many years with shelf-based anxiety, I promise you it works!.It doesn’t matter what kind of items you use either!
